Two State Solution (continued)

If you have been using the links on this blog's side bar to follow the news and weather in Hyderabad, you may have read a few ominous headlines concerning the recent decision to divide Andhra Pradesh into two separate states. The decision to create the new state of Telangana has indeed resulted in rallies, protests,hunger strikes and work disruptions by those who are against the plan. For my original post click here.

I must to report that other than very brief power outages, which are immediately overcome with private generators at both Deloitte and the Lemon Tree, the impact here has been barely noticeable to us.

We do follow the news on television and do discuss how best to plan for the public events announced by opposing factions. In general, HiTec City has been insulated from the conflict, as have the areas in which we have traveled. More as events warrant.
