Final Tasks

This morning, we wrapped up two weeks of Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) training and received instructions for our final training task - a group case study.

All seven of us BTAs will form a team and work to complete an entire project life cycle in only two weeks! Using the initial case study document as a guide, we will design and configure a SAP system to meet client specifications AND THEN we will present our results to a panel of senior leadership at the end of next week. It seems like a mammoth task, but we’re looking forward to putting all the training we’ve received to good use!

Today, we had time to meet with Sampat Prakash, the national managing director of Deloitte Consulting’s Energy and Resources service offering. He is visiting Hyderabad from Houston this week.

He took time out of his busy schedule to talk with us in the morning to learn about our experience in the USI Immersion Program and invited us to come to the Energy and Resources "all hands" meeting that he was conducting in the afternoon.

He was very passionate about innovation and discussed how it will play a huge role not only in Deloitte’s future as a firm, but in the energy and resource industry as well.

The number of corporate leaders we’ve been able to meet on this trip has been incredible. We appreciate so much the time they have spent with us and the interest each has shown n what we’ve been doing here.
