St. Alphonsus reminds me of suburban, Philadelphia church architecture around the sixties. During this period, plain, large, airplane hangers were the order of the day. The experience made Danny and me feel right at home .... almost. And just like at home, a sparsely filled church as Mass began, was packed by communion time. Could NOT believe it - here too!
