The International Children's Film Festival (ICFFI) also popularly known as 'The Golden Elephant' starts today here in Hyderabad and runs through November 20th. The festival takes place every two years by the Children's Film Society India (CFSI) — an autonomous body under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in collaboration with the government of Andhra Pradesh. The seven-day festival brings delightful and imaginative national and international children's cinema to young audiences in India. Outstanding features, shorts, live action and animation films are screened over seven days of festive celebrations, attended by children and hundreds of film professionals from across the world.
Highlights of the 18th Edition of ICFFI include: 200 Films from 48 counties, 10 Screens across Hyderabad, 30 shows every day, 150,000 child viewers are expected. Don't know if we'll have time to catch a flick, but if we do, I'll let you know.
